Mapped and optimised the Procure-to-Pay cycle, cutting friction between engineering release and purchase order issue. The work targeted the handoffs where accuracy and cost control usually leak.

Researched demand for process equipment across oil & gas, power, energy and hydrogen sectors in target geographies. The findings fed directly into international sales and expansion strategy.
Heavy engineering rewards people who can hold two things at once: the commercial picture and the physical reality of what is being built. This role sat exactly there — between the suppliers who cut and roll the steel, and the sales teams selling into markets on the other side of the world.
The Procure-to-Pay project was the more instructive of the two. Most of the delay in a procurement cycle is not in the negotiation; it is in the waiting between steps. Making that visible was most of the work.
