Cycle N’ Chai

Cycle N’ Chai started the way most good communities do: a handful of people who wanted to ride, and nowhere organised to do it from. It has since become the thing I point to when someone asks what I actually do outside work.

Running it is unglamorous logistics — routes, permissions, support vehicles, weather, and the specific problem of getting a group of tired cyclists fed at two in the morning. It is also the most direct operations training I have had.
